Labor Day and Tunnel to Towers NEVER FORGET Walk

Hey, everybody!

We hope you had a great Labor Day, we just want to let you know we are putting the finishing touches on our September home Homeward Bound newsletter. And it's going to be on its way to you shortly.

Do you guys know that back in the early 1800s people used to work about 70 hours a week?

Then, in the late 1800s, about around 1890, it got shortened to about 60 hours a week until the union organizers came in and said, Enough is enough. So, they came in, and then it became the 8-hour / 40-hour a week work day in the United States.

Some countries work a lot more hours than that.

But what was happening was, people were working so much that they didn't have a time to go out and spend their money to enjoy the money; the fruits of their labor.

So, rather than always being a working class, we needed to become a consuming class as manufacturing started in the early 1900s. And that's why labor changed from the 70 Hour Work Week, to 40 Hour Work Week.

So that’s just a little tidbit for that Labor Day.

Let’s talk a little bit about our foundation, where your referrals help support our foundation.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation

As you know, our foundation is the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. And this coming Saturday is the ominous 20th anniversary of the attack on our nation, attacking the World Trade Center and Pentagon and the plane crashing in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

So what's Tunnel to Tower Foundation does is support law enforcement, military members are killed in line of duty; maimed in the line of duty. And something that they recently started doing is addressing a condition that's been overlooked for so long, first responder doesn't necessarily have to be firefighters. Police officers have been some postal workers sanitation, etc. that have died from 9/11 cancers. And the city of New York really didn't take care of us. I, (Ernest Van Glahn) was first responder on that day and they've done us dirty. Finally, it's starting to get better.

The Tunnel to Tower Foundation is going to do on September 12, 2021 is, the reading of the names of every first responder who died since 9/11.

And yes, there are still people out there that are dying at a sec 20 years later. Another thing that they’re going to do is that they're going to start buying back and pay off the mortgages of first responders who die now from 9/11 cancers and illnesses who have small children today.

FealGood Foundation

Another thing that we want you to know is that, FealGood Foundation on Long Island has a special Memorial Park dedicated only to first responders who have died of 9/11 related cancer.

No one should forget where they were at 8:46 on September 11 2001.
