Tunnel to Towers Foundation Steps In to Support Family of Slain NYPD Officer Didarul Islam

In the wake of tragedy, one organization continues to honor America’s heroes in the most tangible way possible.

Following the tragic death of NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, who was killed in the line of duty while working a security detail in Manhattan, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has pledged long-term financial support for his grieving family.

Officer Islam, who was posthumously promoted to Detective 1st Grade by the NYPD Police Commissioner, leaves behind a pregnant wife and two young sons.
